Social Initiative: Prayaas

I began as a team member in 2014 and volunteered to teach underpreviliged children. Later since 2016 until 2018 I have been the student representative of Prayaas. Under my leadership various events like women empowerment workshops for the underpreviliged, fund raising events for NGO, cleanliness drives in the village and cloth distribution drives were conducted.

Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyaan (RAA)

I have been a part of this government initiative undertook by IISER Bhopal during 2016-2017 as a student leader along with Dr. Madhumita Mukherjee. I worked with a team on making syllabus that promotes critical thinking and unconventional ways to teach science and maths to students in underpriviliged government schools. I also went to schools to teach and interact every once in a week. Outreach activities were organized with the institute's help

Singularity 2016 & 2017

I have been the organizing core committee member of Singularity for the years 2016 and 2017. It is the prestigious science fest of IISER Bhopal. Different events that incorporated science and technology in a creative way to solve problems were organized and managed.

Book Club

I have been a co-ordinator and student representative of IISER Bhopal's book club from 2014 to 2017. I have worked on conducting events that could promote reading culture among the students and maintaing the club.

Hobbies & Interests

Apart from the above, I enjoys reading, dancing, and travelling. I have been trained in Kathak (Indian Classical dance form) for 3.5 years. I'm fond of running and participating in races. Participating in half-marathons & marathons are goals. I've recently developed interest in yoga.
